Morning sessions hanging out with the ladies. We found lush in between the hustling and bustling. Blue tones after the grey haze. We found our greens for the plant table. Today our last day of install.

Landversation is the combination of the words, land and conversation.
The project has been in 4 countries, with 4 different languages and 4 different alphabets. This is our local producer @mmh.mouri teaching @otobongnkanga a few letters in Bangla alphabet.

To understand a little bit more about the fisheries areas we went to see the community of fishermen and fisherwoman in Chandpur, 4 hours by boat from Dhaka. One of the fishes we came across while visiting the local market was the Hilsa fish, known as the national fish of Bangladesh.

@teresa_albor organized the first meeting of @landversation with some of the key collaborators to the project in Dhaka. We had a great conversation with people that are researching and working with land issues in different areas.

Huraera Jabeen is an architect and professor at Brac University. We talked about informal settlements, women as caregivers and also about the idea of "parochial space", that are spaces in between public and private. We visited her in the space that she built as an architect.

Because she was missing her connection with land, a couple of years ago Ashna Afroz founded @prakritifarming, a company that helps people to grow gardens on the rooftops of their buildings. During the installation of Landversation, one of her collaborators, Alom Bhai, came to help us to prepare the soil with the correct elements.
